We’ve taken our children’s stoma products off sale while we redesign them. Here is the honest version of why.
Children’s bodies change fast. A belt that fits well at five does not fit at nine, and the version we had did not handle that as well as we want it to. Rather than keep selling something we are not proud of, we stopped selling it.
We are working with our manufacturer on a new prototype right now. We have a sample in hand and we are giving feedback on it. When it is right, it comes back — in every language and in the sizes that actually matter.
Write to us and we will tell you as soon as it launches. If you mention your child’s age and what did not work with previous belts, that feedback goes straight into the design — we would rather hear it now than after manufacturing.
For older teenagers, our adult stoma belts start at the smallest sizes and may already be a good fit.
