Authentic VELCRO® Brand fasteners are the only adhesive system tested and approved for the SIIL Stoma Protector. Aftermarket alternatives lose their grip after one wash, irritate sensitive peristomal skin, or fail to bond cleanly to the polymer dome. Our refill packs ship in flat sheets that peel cleanly, stick once, and hold the protector firmly in place even during sport or travel.

Hook & loop adhesive stickers for ostomy protection

Each pair includes one hook strip — which permanently bonds to the underside of your SIIL Protector — and one matching loop strip with skin-safe adhesive backing that attaches directly to your ostomy pouch. How long does each VELCRO® sticker pair last?

One pair (one hook + one loop strip) typically lasts 2–3 days under normal wear. Heavy water exposure (long swimming sessions, the shower) shortens that to one day. The refill packs are sized so the 40-pack covers about 2 months, the 120-pack about 6 months, and the 240-pack roughly 12 months of daily use.

Are these the same VELCRO® stickers that came in the box with my Protector?

Yes. These refills are the exact same genuine VELCRO® Brand strips that ship with every new SIIL Stoma Protector. We sell them as standalone refill packs so you never have to buy a new protector just to replenish the adhesive.

Will these refills work with other stoma guards or shields?

The hook strips are sized and shaped specifically for the underside of the SIIL Stoma Protector ® dome. They will not fit other brands of stoma guard or shield. If you own a SIIL Protector — beige, black, or any future colour — these refills are guaranteed compatible.

Are the adhesives skin-safe and hypoallergenic?

Yes. The adhesive on the loop strip is medical-grade and hypoallergenic. It bonds to the ostomy pouch, not directly to your skin, so even users with sensitive peristomal skin can wear the system without irritation. After 2–3 days the strip peels cleanly without leaving residue.

How do I store the unused refills?

Keep the unused VELCRO® strips in their original sealed sheet, in a cool dry place. Avoid direct sunlight and humid environments — the adhesive performs best at room temperature. Stored properly, an unopened pack stays at full performance for at least 24 months.
