Ileostomy belt — what to know

An ileostomy belt works the same way as a colostomy belt but the pouch must be emptied more frequently — typically 6–8 times in 24 hours. The SIIL belt’s side zipper opens directly over the pouch outlet, so you can empty into the toilet without removing the belt.
